Boundaries of the proposed CBD are:
Northeast Mission
West of Potrero Avenue, North of 20th Street, East of Harrison Street, and South of 16th Street
Showplace Square
South of Bryant Street, East of Vermont Avenue, North of 16th Street, and Southeast of 7th Street
Central Waterfront
West of Illinois Street, East of Pennsylvania Avenue, South of Tubbs Street/23rd Street, and North of Cesar Chavez Street
We share common zoning by the San Francisco planning department as PDR-1 (a type of light industrial use) and UMU (Urban Mixed Use) and a common desire to ensure our neighborhoods -- some of the last areas in the City where industrial work is allowed -- remain incubators of innovative urban life and jobs for San Francisco residents of diverse ages and backgrounds.
